Thank You America! U.S. Appeal Court Denies Request To Restore Trump's Immigration Ban

A U.S. appeal court late on Saturday denied an emergency appeal from the U.S. Department of Justice to restore an immigration order from President Donald Trump barring citizens from seven mainly Muslim countries and temporarily banning refugees.
"Appellants' request for an immediate administrative stay pending full consideration of the emergency motion for a stay pending appeal is denied," the ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit said.
It said a reply from the Department in support of the emergency appeal was due on Monday.

The charred remains of an unidentified man was found this morning at Federal university of Agriculture Makurdi, Benue State.

Sources said the alleged thief stormed a private students hostel and tried to steal from a student. It was gathered that the thief demanded for the student's laptop and phone but the student said he refused, which angered the thief.

At that moment the thief angrily shot at the student once, he fortunately evaded the gun shot, raised an alarm as a struggle ensued between them. The students of Federal University Of Agriculture, in numbers came out of their various rooms and apprehended the suspect and set him ablaze.

The man confessed that he was infected by the girl after a night of unbridled debauchery. He was too drunk the night he slept with her, so didn't wear a condom. He got to find out he was infected after he and the girl got into a heated argument.

EFCC Seals Yuguda’s Estate


The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Saturday sealed off an estate belonging to the immediate past Governor of Bauchi State, Mallam Isa Yuguda.

John Kwame Atta Owusu, the husband and father was at work at the time the tragic incident occurred. Kenyan Doctors Remove Coin Stuck In Boy's Throat For Two Weeks (Photos)


A team of doctors at the Aga Khan Hospital in Mombasa have successfully removed a coin that got stuck in the throat of a 3-year-old boy for two weeks. The boy identified as Samson Kaingu was said to have swallowed the coin while playing with his friends at school in Bamburi. He lived with the coin for two weeks due to lack of medical services in public hospitals after doctors went on strike.

Medical Drug Shortages Hit Malawi As DHOs Exhaust Budgets


District public hospitals in Malawi have run out of essential medical drugs after District Health Officers exhausted the budget allocations for buying drugs for 2016/17 financial year. Confirming the drug shortages in district public hospitals,  Health ministry spokesperson,  Adrian Chikumbe, said the Ministry will meet with other stakeholders to find a way to resolve the setback.
